Warranty conditions for DUR jewelry
The DUR brand stands for high-quality jewelry and excellent customer service. We focus on long-lasting quality and offer you a one-year warranty from the date of purchase for our jewelry pieces. This warranty covers material and workmanship defects that existed at the time of purchase. Please keep your purchase receipt, as it serves as proof of warranty.
In the event of a warranty claim, we will repair the affected jewelry piece or replace it with an equivalent one. If repair or replacement is not possible due to the model or availability, we reserve the right to offer you an appropriate alternative.
Please note that certain conditions and exclusions apply to this warranty:
- Warranty exclusion for external influences, such as abrasion, impact, crushing, and heat.
- Warranty exclusion for leather and fabrics: leather straps and leather chains are subject to natural wear and may also be affected by perspiration.
- Warranty exclusion for alterations by third parties: if you have your jewelry altered by a third party (e.g., resizing, shortening, stretching, compressing).
- Warranty exclusion for engravings by third parties: the rhodium layer on rhodium-plated jewelry can be damaged by engraving. The material may be deformed when clamped into a traditional engraving machine.
- Warranty exclusion for improper handling: jewelry should be removed during sports and at night, and kept away from chemicals and liquids.
- Cleaning and care of non-rhodium-plated silver jewelry: non-rhodium-plated silver must be cleaned and cared for to prevent natural tarnishing. Natural tarnishing is not a reason for complaint.
- Please note that for coated jewelry pieces such as rhodium, gold plating, or ruthenium, the warranty does not cover wear of the coating caused by external or mechanical influences, as these coatings are applied materials and can wear off over time.
In general, no fees apply for warranty services. If a warranty service is not possible, we can offer a repair for a fixed workshop fee.
To claim a warranty service, please send the affected jewelry piece along with the purchase receipt and a description of the issue to us. Please note that direct shipping costs must be covered by the customer.
Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this warranty. This warranty does not limit your legal rights as a consumer.
